Owned a boutique that he bought from John Summers which was below Steven Scarborought's health food store. Disk Fisk worked in the store.

Preferred shooting films over months rather than within a week or day. He shot sex sequences before dialog so that if the chemistry wasn't right he could more easily abandon further work on a scene.

He was indicted in the Northern District of Texas in December of 1973, on four counts of sending obscenity through the mail. He was convicted on June 5, 1975 and sentenced to 3 years in prison. He was also fined something like $12,500. Apparently he served 18 months before being finally released on parole.

In 1988 he was afflicted with Guillain–Barré syndrome.
