"California Kings" (1997) is one of my all-time favorite Falcon flicks, with a great cast and superb direction by John Rutherford. The action centers on a simple story: one man and his mattress. Hunky Tom Chase, his beefy form shaved down in the Falcon style of the day, plays the man who, like the princess in the fairy tale, just can't get comfortable with his bedding. Tom stars in the memorable centerpiece scene with the handsome, well-endowed Mike Branson.

A cleverly written opening has Tom speaking to a customer service rep (Marc Stewart) at Mattress World. Marc has his huge dick in one fist and the phone in the other as he asks Tom all kinds of leading questions about his order. After Tom hangs up, Marc strokes his meat until he shoots a load all over his tight, tanned abs. And you thought those big pauses on customer service phone calls were due to slow computers.

The opening pastiche fades into a kitchen scene where stark naked Eric Hanson is being sucked by blond cutie Matthew Anders. As Matthew is licking the sweat off Eric's balls, two deliverymen (Allen Ames and the luscious Troy Rider) mistakenly show up with Tom's mattress. But Tom lives down the block, so they move on. Matthew and Eric are extremely attractive, and there are some beautiful shots of their tryst, especially a tight shot of Eric's long-lashed eyes closing in pleasure as he diddles Matthew's enticing asshole with his tongue. Eric fucking Matthew on the kitchen counter is another hot view, with the action shot from just about every imaginable angle, above, below, and from the side. The scene ends with two beautiful cum-shots: Eric stands on the counter, towering over Matthew, to deliver a blast that splashes down on Matthew's pecs, and then Matthew shoots, his tawny colored skin damp with sweat from his exertions.

Meanwhile, the delivery guys are still trying to drop off the mattress. Their progress is slowed by an encounter with dark-haired stud Brian Daniels, a three-way that takes place in a garage. There are definite perks to being a mattress delivery person. For one thing, you've always got a place to fuck, wherever you go. It's too bad that Troy made very few porn movies, because his buff body, long dick, and handsome face are total eye candy, and he grabs the spotlight more than once here. He takes center stage, with Alan chowing down on his dick and Brian fucking his face, and then Brian sits on Troy's cock and bounces on it. Brian then fucks Alan in a reverse position with Alan practically standing on his head, and then Alan takes center stage when Troy and Brian fuck him at the same time. Tom's scene with Mike is next, beginning with Tom offering the mattress to Mike, because he doesn't like it (maybe it smells kinda funky from the scene before). One of the reasons this scene works so well is that the casual, friendly tone the two actors take with the dialogue is both natural and extremely erotic, as they try to seduce each other. As the scene progresses, from Tom going down on Mike's prize-winning cock to Mike's admiration of Tom's perfectly sculpted ass, the ad-libbed banter continues, mostly consisting of Mike trying to talk Tom into taking his dick up his ass (we know it's going to happen eventually of course, but the build-up is a huge tease). Plus, the views are incredible. Tom's ass spread wide as he rims Mike, Mike's fingers straying into Tom's hairless hole as the two studs kiss, and Tom's masterful mouth slurping on Mike's rod are edited together to build the scene to a big crescendo, the part of the scene where Mike actually gets what he wants: a long ride inside Tom's beautiful butt. Even as Mike is closing in on it, Tom is still demurring, but he gives in, and the sight of Mike's thick meat buried inside Tom's curvaceous ass is one of the hottest I've ever seen in gay porn. The studs fuck doggy and in a gymnastic position with Tom's feet resting on the headboard, his legs over his head, and Mike pushing into him from above, facing away, and supporting himself with his arms on the bed. Even the cum-shots are superb. Tom and Mike side-by-side, their heads at opposite ends of the bed, and they hold on to each other's legs as they jerk. Tom shoots first, then Mike, and they end with a hot embrace between them, their loads pressed together between their bodies.
