Bel Ami's across-the-board appeal is such that even the most confirmed bear-lover can find something to like in a Bel Ami production. The gorgeous, randy, and hypersexual young stars of these videos are charismatic, and their expert erotic performances (carefully cultivated by Bel Ami) are unparalleled in the industry. For fans of the stud-pup genre, Bel Ami is the undisputed standard-bearer.
In this DVD, the continuation of the "Frisky Summer" series, director George Duroy once again proves that he is highly adept at not only capturing the action but also at artistically setting the scene, with stunningly picturesque location shots and golden lighting that permeates the video, perfectly embodying that "summer" feel that is so necessary. And the action -- well, it's hotter than hot.
In the opener, the curly-haired, boyish Robbie Martin and muscle boy Gilles Marais slip into a barn to get out of the hot sun and into some hot action. Marais, who has that "on the brink of major hunkdom" look, sucks Martin, who gets an instant erection, then Martin, who looks a little Brad Pitt-ish around the edges, bottoms for Marais. The stud first fingers Martin's ass, then Martin takes all of Marais' thick uncut meat easily, in about every position imaginable. Martin has light, downy golden brown fur on his butthole, and watching Marais plow through it is a beautiful sight. In the end, Martin has blown his load once, on Marais' smooth muscular chest and neck, and Marais has shot two massive loads, the first on Martin's chest, the second on his belly after fucking him on his back.
In the next scene, the very well-hung Marcel Bouvier and cute, coltish Pierre Delon (who is also very well-hung -- maybe I should just say they're all well-hung and get it over with!) park their bikes and slip into an abandoned building for a tryst. It's rather difficult to describe the very creative position these two use to do the deed, but let's just say that Hamilton is so flexible, he can actually watch himself get fucked. Saradon pulls out and shoots all over Hamilton's chest, then, just like a good lover should, he takes care of Hamilton's orgasm, jerking the blond boy until he shoots all over himself as the two lie side by side.
In the next scene, one of my all-time Bel Ami favorites, the curly haired, satyr-like stud Julian Armanis and blue-eyed muscle boy Ken Russel are frolicking in a pool in barely-there bikinis. Then the two share a quick kiss in the showers before getting naked and joining a throng of Bel Ami studs in a subterranean hot tub orgy. It is impossible to describe the variety and energy (not to mention the coordination by the director) of this scene, but with more than 20 studs in on the action, you know that it's like something out of the world's best wet dream. And I do mean wet -- cum flies everywhere at the end.
In the finale, a three-way with Armanis, Russell and dark-haired cutie Daniel Avedon, the studs get hard underwater while sharing a hot tub, then lucky Avedon gets both Armanis' and Russel's dicks in his mouth and ass. First Avedon gets fucked while in the hot tub, then the three step out, dry off, and Avedon straddles a saddle while proffering his rear to Armanis. Kudos to Bel Ami and especially director George Duroy for keeping the "Frisky Summer" series alive, and for improving with each new release.

A word of advice: The best thing you can do right now is skip this review entirely and run (do not walk) to get George Duroy's latest, Frisky Summer 4 . It's that good.
Nearly a decade ago, director Duroy first began to revolutionize the adult film industry by inviting viewers into a world where there are no labels and, therefore, no guilt whatsoever in discovering and exploring the joys of man's most powerful, most primal impulses. From his first films to his most recent, he has again and again created the Garden of Eden - before the fall - to reveal the rapture of sexual innocence and the purity of physical contact with another human being.
From the first notes of the haunting, familiar musical theme, the viewer knows that he is about to be transported into this Eden - or more specifically, here an Elysian field where two cynosures of youth, a sinewy brunet (Glles Marais) and a mop-topped blond (Rbbie Martin) are gamboling across a meadow, exuberantly reveling in the physical contact of camaraderie, contact that soon becomes sexual. When they reach an old deserted farm building, Marais butts up against Martin's pillowy ass and begins to explore the wonders of his friend's left nipple. Soon, they are kissing tenderly, and in no time Marais has knelt to savor the sensations of a hard cock in his mouth. He is both a natural sexualist and an instinctual performer; with the proper handling, he promises to become one of Bel Ami's greatest stars. This promise is never more evident than in the footage where he worships the cherubic Martin's ass, first with his fingers, then with his tongue, and finally with own rockhard spear. They suck each other and share each experience at all times; they fuck with consideration and gradually accelerating energy and heat; their money shots seem absolutely soul-shattering; and afterwards, they dissolve into gleeful giggles!
The second episode is set in a crumbling, deserted building where baby-faced Pierre Delon and pretty-boy Marcel Bouvier have slipped away to make love. Their hungry kissing is equally arousing and touching, and when Delon opens his friend's fly to reveal the anxious erection nervously waiting to be devoured, his reaction is both gloriously silly and charmingly abandoned. Soon he is reveling in the bliss of cocksucking. In return, Bouvier sprawls on a ratty old couch worshipping Delon's towering inferno. Delon has one of the longest cocks ever seen on film, and it stays hard throughout the oral play as well as later when he slips into Bouvier's luscious ass. Clearly, Delon revels in being serviced but never stops reciprocating, kissing, caressing, nuzzling and stroking his friend. The fucking seems to be a transcendental experience for both of them, and though it begins with loving gentleness, it builds to hard-driving passion that results in a quartet of Delon's creamy jizz-arrows flying into the air. Delon is the only performer in the film who is given two scenes, and he deserves the honor, for he is a perfect sex star. He has a delectable face, a long, lanky body, a long, lanky dick and a never-ending delight in sexual discovery. In his second scene, set in a leafy glade outside an abandoned shed, he shares another idyll with the captivating Adrian Kinski. Casually, they begin to inspect each other's body, and in a whisk, two stiff dicks are aimed at each other. They snicker over the sight, stroke each other with a comfortable familiarity, and attempt to outdo each other in giving head. Their kissing is rapturous, their sucking luxuriant, their ardor for each other palpably real. And when Delon (who has strutted his topman skills in the previous scene) climbs aboard Kinski's everhard shaft for a lap fuck, his own oversized wand waving at full attention, the results are breathtaking. So are the money shots. In every aspect, this scene is damned near flawless.
The next episode finds platinum blond Tim Hamilton and dirty blond Danny Sarandon waking up in bed in a cabin in the woods. They trade tales of their erotic dreams and slide effortlessly into a charmingly raunchy colloquy (with subtitles). They chatter on as they suck and fuck in a variety of positions and rhythms. The teasing give-and-take is at once relaxed and intense, a game of morning sex that everyone has dreamed of playing. Among the high points are Hamilton's announcement that "I will now swallow it all!" before effortlessly deep-throating his friend and Sarandon's inquiry, "Is you hole prepared?" before standing over his partner's upended ass and drilling him from above. The love match ends in a spate of kissing, a pair of copious money shots and the sense that a cabin in the woods can be as close to paradise as one gets in this world.
The zenith of Frisky Summer 4 is the following scene, an orgy around an indoor swimming pool - featuring 20 juicy boy-men, as best we could count - and it is a remarkable undertaking, the most fully realized group scene ever put to film. Again and again, the camera pans around the room, capturing everyone at full tilt simultaneously. The glamorous Julian Armanis is our guide, wandering casually from grouping to grouping, joining in to sample the pleasures of each, then moving on. Among the most memorable moments: Armanis feeding his gigantic meat to Filip Olivier (aka Roberto Giorgio) and Patrick Zsolt poolside; Adam Cartier devouring Chris Cameron, half in and half out of the pool; Dano Sulik's unbelievable orgasm; and the lengthy threeway in which Ken Russel (aka Nicholas Kiss) and Armanis take turns ravishing Cartier.
After this exercise in erotic enchantment, the final scene, as good as it is, feels anticlimactic and might well have served the film better if placed earlier. In it, stocky blond Russel and entrancing brunet Armanis share a Jacuzzi with the ever-obliging Daniel Avedon. Much of the early action is shot downward through the clear ripples as the three begin to play with one another underwater. The effect is visually dazzling. Before the sequence is over, Avedon has tasted both the others, and they in turn have made a picnic of his meat and dessert of his bubblebutt. Russel is one of the most electric performers to appear in adult films, and here he all but steals the scene from both the others.
Never has director Duroy been more successful in bringing his vision to life than in the Frisky Summer series, and as captivating as the first three entries are, this fourth one is arguably as bewitching a film as he has ever made. In this world, sex is never painful, never demeaning, never shameful and never less than perfectly natural. Although his performers are almost mythically perfect, they are also invitingly real, invitingly human, invitingly accessible. Duroy, however, is doubly blessed; not only is he possessed of a remarkable vision, but he is a gifted technician whose consistently inventive sexual choreography and consistently sparkling videography qualify Frisky Summer 4 as one for the permanent collection. Here, he makes magic seem real.
