For those of us who love pretty boys with smooth chests, shapely asses and hot cocks, Kevin Clarke is certainly a filmmaker to follow. Over the years, Clarke has produced some of the highest quality "twink" flicks, and A Young Man's World easily takes its place as one of his most creative efforts. The boys are adorable, the story line is cheerfully fun, and the sex is just what you'd expect. Add some really good videography and admirable production values, and you've got two full hours of sizzling adult entertainment.
Unlike many erotic films that can't mix plot with cock, Clarke's A Young Man's World has a very clever story line loosely connecting five smoking sex scenes featuring 11 young and hung studs. What's more, the story line is actually interesting, and the two elements come together nicely in a few key places.
Basically, the movie follows five older men, played by Clarke, producers Barry Knight and Russell Moore, with Ron Aron and Derrick Stanton, as they hold court in a luxury house filled with pretty party boys. Watching the young studs frolic in the backyard pool, the older generation reminisces about their own glory days as young gay men. While that could be a bittersweet scenario, Clarke's script finds more than a little fun in the concept, with an admirable sense of self-deprecating humor that manages to avoid being mean-spirited.
Clarke is obviously having a good time, even in the final scene where he plays a drunken letch who gets his long, grey hair cut off by five of the casts "twinks" and dunked in a pool for his display of bad behavior. Clarke's more than shoulder-length hair has been something that many people in the industry thought should have been cut long ago.
But as cute as those moments may be, it's not why you'll get this movie. You'll no doubt want to see the gorgeous youths kissing, sucking, rimming and fucking, and you won't be disappointed.
The first sex scene starts with some great make out moments, with Court Logan and newcomer Trent Sebastian moving from playing the piano to playing their organs in a lush outdoor setting. Sebastian is an incredibly hot find, and you'll certainly envy Logan as he licks his way down Sebastian's pleasure trail to the thick meat that awaits. The two trade blowjobs, with Logan proving himself a very accomplished cocksucker. Logan then moves behind to munch Sebastian's very edible ass before Sebastian starts ramming Logan's own sweet behind. The scene could have used some more moans on the soundtrack, but the videography is really good, especially a shot of Logan's mouth at work, with Sebastian's big balls in the foreground and his satisfied face crystal clear in the background.
The second scene features hot boy-next-door Adam Bristol playing poolside with cute Justin Roxx. More making out leads to serious sucking, with Bristol first swallowing Roxx's rocks whole, then slowing rimming his hole before fucking him fast and hard. It doesn't end there, though, as Roxx takes control and pounds Bristol's behind. Both boys are skilled at what they do, and if you like watching hot guys kiss while they fuck, you'll certainly appreciate this scene. One small comment, meant in good spirit - Bristol's tanned and beautiful, but some sugar daddy needs to buy him a Speedo to tighten his tan line.
Easily the best in the movie, scene three starts with a park pickup and merges into a three-way when the friendly neighborhood pizza boy stops by with a pie and stays for a piece of ass. Blond newcomer Jonathan Prescott, with a slight body and huge cock, starts off with newcomer Antonio Madiera, and the two sizzle together before being joined by Zach Rhodes. A talented veteran of Clarke's American Way, Part Two, moptopped Rhodes is cute and hung but has the worst haircut in porn since the perms of the mid-1970s.
Still, the scene's a winner, as the three work a variety of positions and combinations, with Madiera doing most of the top work. All three are great, but Madiera gives a Grabby-worthy performance that will leave you begging to see him in a more substantial role. Not only is he beautiful, smooth, hung and olive skinned, but he's incredibly good at fucking, nailing both Rhodes and Prescott masterfully.
Scene four is somewhat of a disappointment if you're looking for steamy sex, but if you want to see two men making sweet love to one another, this one is perfect for you. Ashton Ryan, one of the brightest rising stars today, teams with his real-life lover Jace Hughes for a slow-paced twosome that does come across more as lovemaking than sex. The two kiss sensuously, then trade blowjobs in various positions before Hughes fucks Ryan, first with Ryan on top and then with Ryan lying on his stomach. From the pleasure/pain look on Ryan's face to the moans recorded live, the scene has a very real feel that's sure to please the voyeur in you. If anything, however, the passion in this scene underscores the lack of passion in some others but makes them no less enjoyable.
The final sex scene is another threeway, but with a more macho tone. Real-life Chicagoland lovers Joe Landon and bodybuilder Dave Parker (seen twice in the Gentry 2001 "Men of Gentry" calender under their real names - Brian Benham and Bill Gehrke) team to top Bristol, who here does the bottom boy duties with incredible skill.
