In 2001 he was charged with sex with a minor who he claimed lied about his age. He was sentence to probation. He started Cobra Video and made a lot of money doing it. He hired Brent Corrigan who lied about his age. Where he was too young, his videos had to be retracted. Kocis, himself, was not a person to be admired. Kocis was murdered by two men that he worked with, Joseph Kerekes and Harlow Caudra, who wanted more money and expected to use Brent Corrigan to keep them in cash.
