THREADS OF MAN (1971) Zenith Films.
Produced & directed by Dick Fontaine. Photography by Chuck Roy and Hal Roth. Screenplay by Ann Noble. Sets by Lester Philcox.
Summary: Stephen Lester plays an old and soft-hearted tailor, who talks to his dress form to keep him company. The sex scenes in the film feature a few of his non-paying clients. Gerald Strickland, as an egomaniac film director, and Jerome Scott, as a go-go dancer, each get solo scenes. Next up, Eric Penn and Scot Arden play lovers who come to the tailor for wedding suits, and their sex scene is romantic and sweet. Ann Noble appears in a cameo as the tailor’s harridan landlord, who is always demanding his back rent. In the final scene, the tailor dies and his dress form comes to life in the form of a nude woman (Jane Tsentas), who takes him romping through a field of daisies.
