The 1964 Mr. America Contest attracted 39 contestants from everypart of the United States. The Must Muscular title was won by Bill Seno, with Val Vasilieff second and Sergio Oliva third. The Mr America title was won by Val Vasilieff, with John Gourgott second and Randy Watson third.
