When two motorcyclists are in swimming, a young bum (Lietel) steals their lunch from their saddle bag. He is caught by the boys who decide a punishment for him which he apparently fears "worse than death"-- namely a bath in soap and water. Despite his protestations, the cyclists wash him, shave him and make him look quite presentable, and he brings out of his wallet an old Physique Pictorial book to prove he was once a coverman. The all become good friends.
