Film is quite insane. A beatnik is sitting in his rather bare apartment (in a rather bare state) blowing his little trumpet. Fist one and then another beatnik joins the group. Soon one of the least glamorous of the group has donned a wig and they have a mock dance. Obviously, the inevitable result is a mass brawl in which everyone fights to the point of exhaustion--- everyone except the trumpeter who never quite gets into the fight and when everybody else is knocked out he plays taps and weeps for them. Of course, its ridiculous--but some may find it funny.
