Notes:
According to Christopher Rage, Scorpio was a lover with Phillip Demato when their scene from Superstars was taped.

Notes from Madd Coww:
His entry into gay erotica was as a dancer/stripper. His porn name was selected because his birthday was November 1, and he got the tattoo of the astrological symbol at the time be began public performances.
Scorpio was born and raised in Trenton, New Jersey. He said that he knew he was gay when he was eight years old. And evidently, his being gay and subsequently making a career of it did not cause much family strife, at least with his exceptionally-understanding mother.
Before becoming a professional stripper, Scorpio was in the Roller Derby in Philadelphia. When the Derby went defunct, Scorpio moved to NYC and got into another form of performing arts. He auditioned for Jack Deveau, and that led to his first porn film appearance, in a loop entitled "Double Scorpio," found in Hand-In-Hand's Private Collection (1978). The "plot" is that Scorpio is in a NYC porn theatre watching a solo scene in which he is onscreen jacking off, and then he goes up to the screen and has sex with himself. Audience member interacting with film character. Hmmm . . . Purple Rose of Cairo?
FYI, Scorpio said that he was not much impressed by Lee Marlin, his co-star in Just Blonds (1979), who "was on his own little planet." Interestingly, Scorpio also said that co-star Eric Ryan was "even a bigger turn-off than Lee Marlin." Scorpio's displeasure with Eric was because Eric was claiming to be straight. Re other porn actors he worked with, Scorpio said that Jack Wrangler was "always blitzed," and that he "didn't get along" with Roy Garrett.
Scorpio made numerous films in the late seventies and early eighties, in the NYC area. In addition to films for Jack Deveau and Hand-In-Hand, he also made films for Arch Brown/PM Productions, and Francis Ellie (Scorpio says that "Francis Ellie" was not one person, but actually were two brothers, one straight and one gay, who made porn films, both gay and straight).
Scorpio played the heroine in the legendary Centurians of Rome (1981). He says that the opening exterior scenes were filmed in upstate New York, and that they were freezing their asses off during the filming. His first love scene with George Payne was shot in a "fistfucking loft over on the East Side." Scorpio says that George Payne was awful at sucking cock. Scorpio still did not like Eric Ryan, and perhaps that helped provide much of the convincing "acting" in the film. Scorpio says that the entire shooting took five days. He says that his favorite director was Christopher Rage, and that his favorite co-star was Casey Donovan.
Scorpio's last porn film was in 1983, Christopher Rage's Street Kids. Scorpio never did any West Coast films. He later moved to Florida--first Miami, where he worked in an adult bookstore, and then he moved to Pensacola (where family members lived) and was employed as a hair stylist there.
Scorpio had a firm view of "gay for pay" in gay porn: "I'd rather work with a complete gay cast, instead of straights. I don't like straight people in a gay film. I want someone that's going to reciprocate. I don't need a 'do-me queen.'"
Scorpio's was born November 1, 1952, and he died in Pensacola on Christmas Eve 1998, age 46.
