"SeXus" marks the fiftieth video directed by Chris Ward, and it is a shining example of why he is one of the greats. Yes, he's right up there with Chi Chi LaRue, Kristen Bjorn, Bruce Cam, John Rutherford, Joe Gage, George Duroy and William Higgins. And, like his peers, he has developed his own style as well as the ability to get first-class performances out of veterans and newcomers alike. What is more, like all great pornographers, he never loses sight of what great porn is all about -- getting you off. Period. And, as with most Chris Ward productions, this one is straightforward (no dialogue, spartan set), has a sexy score, "Sinfonia X," by J.D. Slater [ http://JDSlater.com ], and superb productions values overall. And -- oh yeah! -- a small but potent cast. All of the players look exceptional physically, particularly Tom Vacarro who has put on some muscle (and, of course, that famous dick is still in full effect), and, as always, Peter, Lance, Luke and Sky are buffed and tanned to perfection.
We begin with a bearded Lance Gear and bootylicious Peter Raeg groping and kissing on a big black bed in the middle of a big black soundstage with decorative geometric shapes in the background (the set that is used throughout). Peter then blows Lance, Lance rims Peter and they exchange a rugged flip-flop, doggy-style. They are hot for each other from start to finish and both have nice, hard dicks and perfect bubble-butts. Enough said.
Next up, and I do mean "up," is Tom Vacarro's big dick. His cock literally fills the screen with the length and width that is his penis. It's a beauty. Almost like a story in those super-hero comic books, mild-mannered accountant Chris Ward directs and appears in a video fetish flick called The Hole Punch, (GMC, Issue #6 - February 11, 1999). Flash forward to June 2002, and Ward brings us a 90 minute fuckfest celebrating his 50th video.
You can see Ward's work with many different companies over the past few years, but this one features the "Sex-a-Scope" technique of his own Raging Stallion Studios and a complete musical score, J.D. Slater's "Sinfonia X," which provides the backdrop for this dialog-free sexathon.
Ward not only knows how to party, he knows the mix of guests is also important. A bearded Lance Gear and equally sexy Peter Raeg start out the show as a duo, including a one-on-one pounding of Raeg's hole by buff and furry Gear and then an equally rough ride of Gear's hot cross buns by Raeg.
The action and music never stop, as the scenes just flow seamlessly into each other. The editing is so slick, in fact, it takes a minute to realize that Gear and Raeg have gone and that it's Tom Vacarro's 8.5 inch bone filling cock pig Luke Bronson's hungry mouth. The camera catches Vacarro's glorious girth to its full extent. It gets even hotter when Raeg and Gear wander back in for the fun, each getting a chance to gobble on Vacarro's veiny knob. Raeg must have drawn the long straw, as his furry crack gets a missionary plugging full-throttle from Vacarro. Vacarro gets a spunk shower from the others as they each pop onto his furry pelt.
As Vacarro stews in the juices of the others, Sky Donovan wanders in for a crack at Vacarro's meat pole. Blond and lean Donovan sports a rather delicious hint of a goatee here, which looks absolutely delightful as it grazes up and down Vacarro's slick shaft. All five men return for the final group scene, with Gear lapping up cocksicles from Vacarro and Raeg. Bronson and Raeg both take turns slurping up Gear's hole like hungry little puppies. There's lots of action, with everyone sucking and kissing each other. In what is sure to be an award-nominated scene, Vacarro porks Gear, Raeg slams Donovan and, finally, Vacarro throttles Donovan - who, in turn, acts as a human cum rag for the group to finish out the video.
Although he doesn't appear in this video, both the DVD and the VHS contain a "Michael Brandon cum-shot sequence" as a bonus.
Oh, by the way, Ward is still an accountant. "You know what they say about accountants," he jokes on his website, www.powerfist.com. Well, I don't know what they say, but if the next 50 videos are as hot as the first, I look forward to finding out.
