Upon popping this sumptuous release in to watch, I almost popped it out again and took a second look at the label, because in a way it looks nothing like the usual Raging Stallion production. When the raunchy, no-holds-barred sex starts, the director's influence becomes immediately evident, however. With "Passport to Paradise," Chris Ward has turned in undoubtedly one of his best efforts, and this is one pleasure trip that I truly enjoyed. The most obvious difference is its setting. Usually, and this is not a bad thing, Mr. Ward focuses more on the sex than the where it takes place, which in most cases makes fucking the focal point. But the setting is part of the story here: a gorgeous, Spanish-style mansion that provides a lush backdrop for the predominantly Latino cast. A word about the men: each has both onscreen charisma and sexual prowess. And the leads, dark and handsome Miguel Leonn and blond studpup Pete Ross (the sole Anglo) are so starkly different in terms of their physicality that they complement each other beautifully. The others in the stellar cast are porn great Carlos Morales, hunky Spaniard Iván Andros, French stud Gerald, New Yorker papi Manuel Torres, Panamanian cutie Mario Cruz, and last but far from least Puerto Rican Enrico Vega, who gets the ball rolling by sending Pete to the house where everything takes place.
