The Other Side of Aspen was a gay porn blockbuster in its day, setting the tone for many Falcon videos to come. It had a great small cast of porn vets peppered with one or two newbies having incredibly sizzling sex in a chalet in Aspen. As the years went by, Aspen 2, 3 & 4 continued the tradition, showcasing the top stars of the time and featuring wild orgy scenes. This latest installment of the series features new superstars Chad Hunt and Matthew Rush but doesn't have the epic feeling that the other videos have had.

The video has a similar storytelling device as the very first Aspen - one guy telling another about the sex he saw up in Aspen while peeking in windows. This time around, it's newcomer Jimmy McGuire telling fellow newcomer Timmy Thomas while they clean McGuire's uncle's garage. Incidently, the uncle is played by original Aspen cast member Mike Flynn. After finding Flynn's photo album from the first movie, McGuire recalls the first hot sex scene he spied on. It features lean and hung Eric Leneau and super-muscular, multiethnic Matthew Rush. The all to-quick camerawork and too many lean/thin, smooth, brunette ne comers make this video's orgy less eventful. A little more time on specific couples and some more variety in men would have been nice. Still, 15 studs fucking away is a sight to see.

The next scene must have happened after the orgy when McGuire is walking away because he's looking in the window as Price, Hunt and Aaron Osborn go at it. All three were in the orgy, but this is the kind of coupling action that the big scene lacked. Price gets stuffed at both ends, even taking Hunt's monster-size cock and an equally huge dildo up his ass at the same time. This is followed by Hunt's fist, which Price fucks himself on. Not for the faint of heart! Extra points for Osborn, who stays hard even when he's not part of the action and goes off like a geyser when he cums.

So that's the last scene of this legacy - two newcomers fucking, and one doesn't cum. Not a good sign! The first two scenes of the video are pretty hot, with nice performances by all the guys involved. The orgy has some hot but too-brief moments, and the fisting scene is good but short. This video doesn't come close to the organic fucking that just seems to happen in the first Aspen and doesn't carry the star power that the third and fourth segments had. There are too many minor league faces in the orgy, and they certainly don't get a chance to shine the way that it's filmed. If Hunt's overexposed monster cock wasn't in so many videos, this might have been a nice showcase for him. He's certainly not a bad performer, but the novelty has worn off. I would recommend keeping an eye on Foster and McGuire in future films - they are both star-worthy studs. Will there be a part six for the Aspen series? I haven't heard of anything planned, but I'm hoping for a little more than this video offered.
